FOREIGN MINISTERS OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION DEPUTY: DECISION ON ARRIVAL AT THE FORUM IN YALTA REMAINS WITH ASSAD

The decision to come to the Yalta International Economic Forum (YIEF) remains with Syrian president Bashar Assad. This was stated in an interview with tass by the Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Vershinin, who heads the Russian delegation at the 40th session of the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC).

“I can only say one thing: at this forum in Yalta in the past, there was already a serious, weighty presence of Syrian partners. I think that this should be continued. And the decision on what level this will be done remains, naturally, behind the Syrian side”, - noted the diplomat.

Earlier, the head of Crimea Sergey Aksenov sent an invitation to Bashar Asad.
