Yalta International Economic Forum (YIEF) is a multinational business event held annually since 2015 in Yalta, Crimea.

About YIEF Foundation

YIEF Foundation was established in August 2015 as per the resolution of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Crimea under the auspices of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea. The foundation is supported of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation. Based on success of YIEF 2015 and the knowledge and experience base obtained, it was decided to establish YIEF Foundation to coordinate programme activities, liaise with participants and partners and to hold the Forum at the top quality level.

YIEF Foundation mission: 1) to develop a manageable framework of sustained systematic interaction between business and government in the most vital areas of integration of the Republic of Crimea into the economy of the Russian Federation; 2) to choose priority areas for the development of the region; 3) to promote thought leadership and advanced technologies for the successful implementation of investment projects in Crimea. Thus, the Fund is there to administer to full-fledged integration of Crimea into the Russian Federation, to strengthen and further develop the investment and innovation potential of the republic.

YIEF Foundation intends to actively support implementation of state-run programs in the Republic of Crimea. The implementation of a large-scale federal special-purpose programme for the social and economic development of the Republic of Crimea and the federal level city of Sevastopol is of particular significance. The patronage includes consulting, legal and financial aid. In particular, Moscow acts as the patron of the city of Sevastopol. This allows the two cities to develop joint programs in such important areas as health care, education, transport and public utilities. Besides, the patronage of the Russian capital over Sevastopol is to raise more confidence among potential investors. Among other things, YIEF Foundation holds regular round tables bringing together representatives of the patron regions and supervised areas to establish a sustainable dialogue and strengthen cooperation.

YIEF Foundation closely cooperates with the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea.

About the forum

A decision was made to postpone the VI Yalta International Economic Forum to the second quarter of 2023. The exact dates of the forum will be announced later.

The Decree of the Head of the Republic of Crimea dated September 22, 2022 No. 1263-rg was published on the portal of the Government of the Republic of Crimea."
