Damas Daniel, Member of the Parliament of Tanzania: Africa always stands for Russia
Damas Daniel Ndumbaro, Minister of Culture, Arts and Sports of Tanzania, at the Plenary Session of the VI Yalta International Economic Forum in Ufa, noted that there is an increase in conflicts in the modern world, hinting at a decline in civility. He emphasized that some decisions of countries create preferences for certain groups, and this makes it difficult for sovereign states to take independent measures.
The Tanzanian MP also drew attention to the growing role of Africa, emphasizing its rich resources and opportunities, including his native Tanzania, and pointed to the importance of interaction between the people of different countries.
- We have huge plans for the next year and we would like to establish relations between the Republic of Bashkortostan and Tanzania. We are interested in technology, especially in information technology products, - said the Minister of Culture, Arts and Sports of Tanzania.
Daniel Damas emphasized that Africa continues to support Russia in difficult times.
- We live in difficult times, but Africa stands by Russia. And it will always be like that, - said the Minister.

Yalta International Economic Forum is held within the framework of the International Business Week 2024. The event is recognized by Maria Zakharova, Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, as a top-5 largest forums in Russia. This event strengthens the role of the region as a venue of business communication and cooperation. The Republic of Bashkortostan proves to be an expert ground for a meaningful dialog and cooperation, strengthening its position on the map of international business activity.
