Margarita Bolytcheva Presented Concept of VI Yalta International Economic Forum

This year VI Yalta International Economic Forum will be dedicated to the Collective West and Global South. This year the large economic event will be hosted by the capital city of Bashkortostan. The event's concept was presented by Margarita Bolytcheva, the Acting Minister of Foreign Economic Relations and Congress Activities of the Republic of Bashkortostan, at Yalta International Forum 2024 in Moscow.

- The key topics to discuss with International experts will be overcoming sanction barriers and developing the global trade, constructing new trade routes and building the new Eurasian security system in the light of prospects and challenges, - says the head of the Republic of Bashkortostan foreign trade government unit.

The minister explains that a range of unfriendly countries is trying to deprive Russia of any international networking. This is why it is important to pursue what we have in common in order to facilitate multifaceted International cooperation.

The forum in Ufa will host Ufa Dialogue international working group meeting. It will be named I - We - Multipolar World. New Economic Realities. This group was established to find anti-crisis solutions in the sanction context. This meeting is traditional for YIEF.

Margarita Bolytcheva notes that Ufa is not an accidental venue for large economic forums.

- The capital city of Bashkortostan plays a significant economic role in Russia thanks to its favorable layout, economic potential, cultural diversity and active engagement in local and international processes.

Currently the republic maintains foreign economic relations with 100 countries and operates as an attraction point. 2023 yielded in Bashkortostan becoming the Top-3 in the Russian Regions Rating of Event Potential, - Ms Bolytcheva emphasized.

We have already received off-line participation applications from 34 countries. The total number of participating states will exceed 90. The online forum is found interesting by 150 people from 80 countries including Latin America and the Caribbean.

- YIEF in Ufa merged with the International Business Week will do more than just unite two significant events for the business community. The forums will become the ground for settling pressing issues of the overall economic development, - claimed Margarita Bolytcheva.
