Ufa Preparing for Yalta International Economic Forum
The Sixth Yalta International Economic Forum (YIEF) will be held on December 5th, 2024 in Ufa, the Republic of Bashkortostan, under the International Business Week 2024.
Previously the associated degree was signed by Sergey Aksenov, the head of Crimea.

The venue of the international event will be the Palace of Wrestling constructed and dedicated to the 450th anniversary of the republic's capital city. This is the Europe-largest facility devoted to this sport.

So far, YIEF has been submitted off-line participation applications from 34 countries in Asia, Africa, Europe and North America. The applications were received from MPs, executive authority officers, political party members, public fingers, scientists and journalists. The list can be extended as the forum preparation progresses. Moreover, the forum plans to receive over 90 countries online including Latin America and the Caribbean.

YIEF has been held in Crimea since 2015 but this time it will be hosted by the hospitable Ufa.

The Yalta International Economic Forum is a Top-4 economic forum in Russia. The first forum was held nine years ago and attended by over 600 people from 13 countries such as Russia, Italy, Slovenia, Türkiye, Hong Kong, Japan, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Greece, Kazakhstan, Israel, India and Serbia. In the later years the event was thriving facing the relevant challenges. The YIEF 2019 was participated by over 4,500 people from around 100 countries. The event yielded in over 102 agreements totally worth 215 billion rubles and establishing 1700 jobs.

The COVID-19 got in the way of the forum in 2020 and 2021, then the event was postponed due to the logistic issues. At last YIEF is welcoming guests aspiring for at least the 2019 forum success.
