Yalta International Economic Forum 2019
Recently, the anniversary Vth Yalta International Economic Forum took place in Crimea.
In 2019, the key topic one of the most prestigious business events in Russia was Peace. Russia. Crimea. New Global Reality. On the one hand, the topic was a logical result of 4 preceeding years of work. On the other, it has always been a keynote of all ongoing discussions. After all, it is Crimea that has become a global symbol of the new economic policy model, free from double standards.
Business track
As part of the business track the participants of the anniversary Yalta International Economic Forum were invited to formulate the main pillars of the New World Reality, similar to the world's most famous Magic Cube puzzle. The six sides of the Yalta Cube reflected 6 main areas of the forum's agenda: society and media, innovations, international relations, business security and business climate development, strategic and media innovations, international relations, strategic development areas and national projects of Russia, digital economy.

Thus, the Forum programme consisted of 54 industry-specific sessions. The Forum participants architected the future of construction industry, banking, tourism, retail and other sectors of the economy. They also came up with the concepts for the improvement of the competitive edge of Russian jurisdiction, comfortable urban habitat, gastronomy, public control and combating fake news in the media and the Internet.

The anniversary Yalta Forum programme included 3 plenary sessions.
The topic of the main session was Peace. Russia. Crimea. New Global Reality. The Forum was attended by the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksenov, Acting Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation for Regional Economic Integration Sergey Glazyev, Chairman of the Presidential Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights Mikhail Fedotov, Head of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives Svetlana Chupsheva, Director of the State Duma Anatoly Aksakov.
At the international plenary session - Multipolar World. Global Change Trends - the representatives of France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Nicaragua, Sierra Leone and Niger discussed the possibilities of trade, cultural and diplomatic development.
One of the main events of the Forum was the second Yalta Conference dedicated to trade and economic sanctions. The delegates from more than 50 countries of the world discussed measures to combat this instrument of political pressure, as well as opportunities for strengthening of cooperation between the nations experiencing economic pressure of the United States and the EU.

The discussion was attended by businessmen and politicians, lead experts and journalists from various countries. The discussion was devoted to trade and economic sanctions - one of the main tools of political manipulation of a number of countries according to the session attendees.
The sanctions imposed by the United States and some European countries against Russia must be lifted - this is the key idea that the majority of the audience conveyed in their speeches in various forms.
Also, the conference participants discussed ways to counteract sanctions. The ideas included strengthening cooperation between the countries experiencing economic pressure of the United States and its allies, developing independence from Western institutions. The participants expressed their sincere interest in developing cooperation with Russia.

The Forum business track included sessions with eminent speakers, as well as heads of state-owned enterprises and public officers.
