At the beginning of 2019, the volume of investments under contracts concluded within the framework of the Free Economic Zone (FEZ) amounted to about 127 billion rubles. This was announced by the head of the Republic Sergey Aksenov during the report on the results of the Republican government in 2018.
“According to the information at the beginning of the year, 1,285 participants of the FEZ were registered. The total amount of investments under the concluded contracts is about 127 billion rubles. It is planned to create 37,500 working places,” he noted.
Aksenov said that during the work of the free economic zone since January 2015, about 80 billion rubles had been allocated for the implementation of investment projects, which in turn had created about 34 thousand working places.
“Almost 93% of the projects are represented by small and middle businesses. Last year, the consolidated budget of the Republic received more than 9 billion 600 million rubles from participants of the FEZ. This is almost 400 million more than in 2017,” explained the head of Crimea.
He clarified that the most attractive areas for investors are the spa, social, industry, construction, and agriculture.
