Official delegation from Syria to visit VI YIEF
An official delegation from Syria, headed by the Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade of Syria Mohammad Samer al-Khalil will visit the VI Yalta International Economic Forum.
This was announced by the head of the international directorate of the YIEF Margarita Bolycheva at a meeting of the programme committee of the forum.
"We are expecting the following guests whose at YIEF participation was already confirmed: Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade of Syria Mohammad Samer al-Khalil, Executive Director of the Organization for the Support and Development of Local Production and Exports of Syria Ibrahim Medh, as well as Head of the Department of Planning and International Cooperation of the Ministry of Oil of Syria Muhammad Jerudi," said Margarita Bolycheva.
She also mentioned that the official delegation from Syria has been visiting the peninsula since 2018. One of the results of these visits is the opening of a joint Crimean-Syrian trading house.

"In terms of numbers, over the past year four deliveries of products were made and a precise mechanism of settlement of accounts was established through the trading house. Contracts for the supply of agricultural products more than 10 million worth have already been signed for this year, as well as two contracts for the supply of oil-refining products," concluded the head of the international Directorate of YIEF.

Note: Yalta International Economic Forum (YIEF) is an annual international business event held in Crimea since 2015. In 2019, 4,564 people took part in the forum, including 807 delegates from 89 countries. Summarizing the results of the V Yalta International Economic Forum, 102 agreements were signed to a total of 215 billion rubles.
